19 months into the A4 and I must admit I am hankering for a new ride. Great car, but I think anything short of 300 or 400hp these days is going to leave me feeling a bit empty. I'm a long way off from the next ride but it helps to think into the future when you're having a stressful week.
Candidates that are still somewhat within the realm of possibility *knock on wood*:
- 2011 Audi S4 3.0 V6 supercharged
- 2011 Audi S5 4.2 V8
- used Porsche 911 C4S
- used Audi RS4
- Subaru WRX track car/winter beater + used Porsche Boxster S (also depends on parking)
- Subaru WRX track car/winter beater + used Mercedes AMG C63 (also depends on parking and auto = blah)
- Subaru WRX track car/winter beater + used Audi S8 (also depends on parking and auto = blah)
- 2011 BMW Z4 + shitty beater
- 2011 Audi TTS if they release a manual gearbox for it (which I doubt)
All the usual suspects. I wonder if they're ever going to come up with anything else for my range. Wonder if the Japs will ever come out with something that will actually wet my appetite.
